10月30日星期二，石室中学举办了一场英语辩论比赛，有四支来自高一的队伍参加了这场比赛，他们之间分别进行了两场精彩的辩论赛。此次辩论赛的辩题是“IQ 与EQ谁更重要”。

石室中学英语辩论赛剑桥班PAL年级获胜

　　这次辩论赛的最终结果是：第一场比赛高一一班获胜；第二场比赛剑桥班PAL年级获胜。

　　每支队伍在比赛中都有着优秀的表现，每位辩手都有出彩的辩论。Harry和Lilian是来自PAL的两位选手。Harry在此次辩论赛里有很不错的表现。在赛后，他与我们分享了他成为一个好辩手的方法：“你需要在一个准确的逻辑下迅速地思考如何反驳，并且你不需要害怕在众多人面前说话。”而Lilian在赛场上似乎有些小紧张，赛后感慨道：“我们的队伍十分优秀，队员们都有着奇特的想法，我在台上似乎只是打酱油的。一开始我有些紧张，但是队员们不停地鼓励我，我慢慢放开自己，变得勇敢起来。”

　　比赛结束后，其中一位台下观众Ivy称赞到这场辩论十分精彩，她从未看到过这样有趣的辩论，同时她也认为辩论选手的英语水平很高。她觉得参加这样的比赛可以提高她的英语水平，而且还能学习有关IQ与EQ的知识。

　　This Tuesday, There was a debate in Shishi High School. Four teams from Senior 1 took part in the competitions. They had two wonderful debates. The topic of the debate is “IQ and EQ witch is more important”。 Every team had great performance. Every pleader had a wonderful argument.

　　Harry and Lilian were pleaders from PAL. Harry had a great performance in the competition. After the competition. He shared his way about how to be a good pleaders. “You need to think quickly with good logic and do not be afraid of speaking in front of the pubic.” , he said. Lilian said, “I think my team was very good. Their thought are special. And I was just a watcher. Well. At first I was a little nervous. But my teammates were always encouraging me. So I became braver.”

　　At last, the winner of the first competition is Class 1, the winner of the second competition is PAL.

　　Ivy was one of the audience. She said the debate was very wonderful and she had never seen one like that before. She thought the pleaders’ English was very good. She also thought this debate can improve English and she can also learn a lot of knowledge about IQ and EQ.
